Overcoming The Objection I Don’t Have Time

Network Marketing Tip – Overcoming The Objection I Don’t Have Time has to be one of the top objectives during the closing part of your network marketing presentation.
Learning to overcome this objective will move you to towards not only the title of a closer bit on your path of becoming one of the top producers in your business.

After getting the prospect to show up and doing everything right with the presentation your prospect replies… I Don’t Have Time. What do you say? The closing and handling the objections part of the presentation gives you that feeling in your stomach. Your prospect didn’t see your vision, they couldn’t see this would help them; it can make your stomach ache.  It makes you feel like you lost another one before they even answer. I know I’ve been there when it was time to close the opportunity. Push through that feeling, learning what to say is key to keeping you on track no matter what the outcome. Although handling the objective properly can CHANGE the outcome

Here’s a way to handle the objection “I Don’t Have Time”. Respond with

“That’s the reason why you need to get started with me today.  With your contacts and credibility combined with my time and knowledge equals additional income for you.”

Let me explain further this response.

The key to overcoming the objection “I don’t have time” is to paint a picture to your prospect that by using their cell phone and social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. (which they are already using) they can start a simple process that will create them time. You understand that concept of the future payoff for them if they allow you to leverage you and your time. Simply by having them make introductions of their contacts to you, using their credibility can lead them extra income which will give them more choices. If they are having to do overtime then they can stop, if they travel to their job a far distance now the heat is off and they can start looking for a job closer to home, if they don’t like their job now they can find another one maybe for less money, less responsibility, less stress, etc … This is one of the remarkable ways network marketing works for the team. Not everyone is a builder at first because of their circumstances.

During the close, this is very powerful.  It shows your prospect that they can be in business for themselves but not by themselves.  As soon as they enroll in your business it is critical to both you and your new team member’s success to get inside their network of contacts as soon as possible. Then work to build through those contacts until you can find someone that wants to be a business builder just like you. You will have to be committed to the process as well.

Your closing ratio will go up when you implement this strategy when overcoming the objection I don’t have the time. You can even go back to prospects in the past and use this information telling them you have a plan to help them get more time.

We all have the same 24 hours a day. You have the time to do anything you want to do or need to do when it’s really, really important to you. Make the decision today to show your prospect that leveraging their time can drastically improve their current situation. It is the best way to help them.

When your prospect sees your business as a possible way out of his current situation it enables them to make a decision to say YES. When they say YES get them started as you have been trained. You want the answer to be YES but if it happens to be no, then consider it a “no, not now”.  Situations change circle back to them at a later date.
